The Study On The Information Service Industry’s Effect On Shandong’s Economic Growth

With its rapid development, the information technology continues to extend and penetrate to other fields. The information service industry came into being because of the continued integration between information technology and traditional service industries. The rapidly developing information service industry has gradually become a new growth point of the whole national economy and turns into an industry with the fastest growth, most active technology and the maximum value-added benefits in the whole information industry of today’s world. As an important part of the information industry, information service industry’s development is an important aspect to measure the whole economic and social development level of a country or a region. Therefore, the study of this new service format of information service industry will be of great importance in promoting the social and economic progress.This paper conducts a study on the concept of the information industry and the development trend of the information service industry, focusing on analysis of the mechanism of the information service industry to economic growth. Through the analysis of the current situation of the information service industry in Shandong Province, econometric analysis, and empirical analysis of relevant economic data, this paper identifies problems in the information service industry when it stimulates economic growth, and puts forward corresponding policy recommendations based on those empirical analysis results, which have important practical significance to promote the development of information service industry and economic growth of Shandong Province.
