Research On The Land Use Change Of Kuancheng District During The Economic Transformation Process

Land is the carrier of economic development; land use is the result of the publicinterests’ gaming with the interests of the group. Since the20th century, the globalenvironment is changing with unprecedented speed. Human is facing with a serious of crisis,such as population expansion, resource scarcity, environmental degradation, land supply anddemand’s tension. From a regional perspective, the regional land use changing is subject topopulation growth, the economic and social development, technological progress and othersocio-economic factors. At the same time, the region’s land use will has effect on thedevelopment and changing of the region’s socio-economic and ecological environment.After the reform and open, China’s politic, society and economic undertook enormouschanges, and the change is deeply imprinted on the land use pattern. Currently, China is ona period of economic restructuring and rapid urbanization, land use pattern’s changing is alsoa revulsion. As a material agricultural province, country’s commodity grain base, Jilinprovince has to accept all the consequence of the land use change. In recent years，manyphenomena unsettled during the economic transition such as the city’s enclosure, the trend ofdevelopment zone, the land finance, the trend of real estate development, farmers forced tosell the land. So it is important to focus on the coordination on the public interests and theinterests of the Group, with the land as a lever. During the economic transformation, how tomake the use of land effectively on the limited amount of land, to build a reasonable scale ofarable land and construction land, not only protect farmland but also guarantee people’s basiclivelihood, and promote urbanization and industrialization process orderly, and ensure thedevelopment of construction land is reasonable is the problem to be solved currently oneconomic development time.The purpose of this study is to analyze the number of land-use change and spatialvariation of land use and to explore the factors of urbanization, industrialization, structuraladjustment and technological progress and policy through a series of quantitative indicators.Referring to the existing problems of the present land use situation of Kuancheng District,predict land-use changing direction in the future and indicate feasibility recommendations ofrational land use and sustainable development. Reveal the problems in the social andeconomic development; provide theoretical basis not only for regional land use sustention butalso land optimize allocation and regulation.
