Study On The Development Of Farmer’s Cooperative In Yangling

As economic development and the changes of market structure for agricultural products, the contradiction between "small farmers" and "big market" is increasingly prominent. As the effective carriers of the solution to the contradiction, farmer’s cooperatives appear. Especially, after the law of farmers’cooperatives promulgated in2007, the quantity and scale of farmer’s cooperatives are increasing, which promote the development of agricultural industrialization and modernization. However, farmers’cooperatives are still in the infancy stage in China and their development is not mature. Thus, there are still a series of problems.Based on the above background, this paper analyses the present situation of farmer’s cooperatives in Yangling and constructs index system of farmer’s cooperative performance evaluation. Using data from investigation, it evaluates and compares the performance of12farmer cooperatives in Yangling. At last, it provides the effective suggestion for the development of farmer’s cooperatives in Yangling. This paper consists of six chapters.The first chapter is introduction. It mainly introduces the research background, purpose and significance, ideas and innovation, and relevant research at home and abroad.The second chapter is the basic theory. It mainly introduces the meaning of the farmer’s cooperatives and performance and the theoretical basis of the research, such as the cooperation theory, transaction cost theory, industrial organization theory.The third chapter is the situation analysis of the development of farmer’s cooperative in Yangling. It mainly consists of the present situation and characteristics which highlights internal and external environment of farmer’s cooperatives in Yangling and facilitate the analysis of existing problems in farmer’s cooperative in Yangling.Based on the research results, the fourth chapter analyzes the problems of farmer’s professional cooperatives in Yangling, mainly consisting of formation, operation and members. And then, it analyze the existing problems of" hard" and "soft" facilities in the process of the development of farmer’s cooperatives in Yangling. Based on analysis of the above four chapter, the fifth chapter constructs the evaluation index system of farmer’s cooperative performance in Yangling and quantitative analyzes using survey data.Based on the qualitative analysis and the quantitative analysis of farmer’s cooperatives in Yangling, the sixth chapter puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions.
