Z logistics company in Southern China is a larger scale of logistics enterprises. Thecompany mainly engaged in professional product logistics services, transport and shippingsubstitute business three business. Since the establishment of the company other than by virtue ofits powerful resource advantage to develop quickly. However, in recent years domestic andforeign logistics companies have been established, share the market. In competition increasinglyin the logistics industry, logistics companies Z to maintain and develop its competitive advantage,must have a strong core competitiveness as support.Based on the core competence theory, analyzes the logistics industry and the currentsituation of the development of Z logistics company. According to the principle of evaluationindexes, the characteristics of the logistics industry, the elements of the core competitiveness, theconstruction of Z logistics company’s core competitiveness evaluation index system. Using AHP,the evaluation index system of core competence of weighted. And according to the evaluationindex system of core competence of using the ideal point method of COSCO logistics companyin Xiamen, Qingdao COSCO logistics company and Z logistics company core competitive powerevaluation. Get the evaluation result is Z logistics company’s core competitiveness level is farlower than the Qingdao COSCO logistics, slightly higher than the Xiamen COSCO logistics. Zlogistics company in human resources, brand image,the level of information technology,organizational ability and the ability to integrate the resources needed to improve five aspects.Finally, according to the Z logistics company ’s core competitive power evaluation result, putforward reasonable planning of human resource, enhance the competitiveness of the brand,advance informatization construction, improve organization cooperation ability and thecompany’s integration of resources five to enhance the company’s core competitiveness strategy.This study of Z logistics company competition ability to provide more targeted promotionstrategy, which has better application value. At the same time, the core competitivenessevaluation index system and evaluation method can provide other logistics enterprisecompetitiveness evaluation for reference and reference.
