The origin of rural tourism can be traced back t o Europe in the19t hcentury, but it was really prosperous i n the sixt ies and se ventieth of the20th century. With the development of productive forces and theimprove ment of living standard and urbanization level, holiday wa s ri fein Spain, France and other countries in Europe and America, and mor e andmore city residents chose country as a holiday resort. After rural tourismwas rise in Europe, it was gradually spread the United St ates, Japan andTaiwan, t hen in the1980s it for mally entered in mainland of China. I nrecent years, because the city residents are strongly demand to return tonature and uncut jade of true tourism, rural tourism increasingly showsstrong vitality and attraction. In the development process of rural tourism,the development a nd market ing of agricultural product have become a nunavoidable problem. Taking the rural tourism as a marketing platfor m,helps to reduce the cost of agricultural products, increase the added valueof agricultural products, and promot es the gr owth of relevant ruralindustries and further adjustment of r ural industrial structure.This pape r focus on the the me of agric ultural products ma rketing inrural tourism of China, taking the analysis of the current development ofthe rural tourism a s the breakthrough point, firs tly analyzed the currentsituation of agricul tural products marketing in our country’s rural tourismsyste matically, and summarized the existing proble ms. Secondly, tackledand analyzed statistically the data of the questionnaire then described anddiscussed the results. Thirdly, it analyzed a successful case of themarketing of agricultural products in rural tourism. La stly the papercombined the characteristics of rural t ourism and internet economy era,and adopted the agricultural marketing basic principle, this paperproposes some new mo dels and strategies of t he agricultural products marketing under the background of the rural tourism. This paper provide sa new perspective in the research of China’s agricultural marketingstrategy, enriching the theory research of rural tourism and agriculturalproducts marketing, and offering a new idea for the marketing o fagricultural products in China.
