As a production service company of CNPC Jilin Chemical Industrial Company, the power plant has been already30years. Its boiler equipments are aging, and its system is running in high failure rate. The Boiler Construction Project of Jilin Chemical Industry Company is the new construction and renovation project which is on the condition of meeting each plant’s heating load of each season and heat source spare to change the old and backward status quo of equipment. Since the power plant belongs to the corporate-owned power plant, the boiler construction project’s costs, quality and construction period are not only related to the interests of the unit, but also impact on the production safety and operating costs of the production unit directly. The project’s risk is on a relatively high degree. So it is important to strength the risk management and identification of the boiler construction projects and develops effective risk control strategy.As background to the boiler construction project, this paper closely combines with the project risk management theory and the practical application and use the decomposition analysis, financial statements and sensitivity analysis to identify, assess and analysis the boiler construction project risk management.
