Company K is equipment supplier, who supplies the tissue converting lines and rolls package machines to its customer. But in these years, it faced problems:On time delivery was low, in2011, the on time delivery rate was just32.5%, and one of its main product-xp6package machine, the on time delivery was36%; and the operation cost is high. For these reasons, it started to introduce the lean production.In this article, firstly we analyze the background why we should carry out lean production, and state relevant lean production theory. Secondly, For XP6production in K company we analyze the production workflow, worksite management, workers situation and production cycle time etc. Thirdly, we build up virtual team for XP6, introduce lean concept, execute TWI training, and carry out standard operation process, standard work and5S management etc, through these basic measures, we make a platform for lean production.。Finally, we design the production Takt after we analyzed XP6market demand and the procession, and then we put it into practice. As result, we achieve on time delivery, and we got good finical benefit.In this paper, we study the lean production on base of small batch of industry equipment products; this is meaningful not only to K Company, but also to this kind of industry field.
