Work and life are two important parts of individual’s life, and work-family interface’s research focuse on work-family conflict, but now work-family enrichment has becoming a hot topic. Work-family enrichment reflects "the extent to which experiences in one role improve the quality of life in the other role". In recent decades, the composition of the workforce has changed, more and more employees are engaged in dual-earner lifestyle which leads to the hot issue of the balance between work and family. Life satisfaction is defined as "a global assessment of a person’s quality of life according to his chosen criteria", and it refers to a cognitive, judgmental process. When designing work content, organization should take job characteristics in to account, in order to stimulate employee enthusiasm to job.Based on theory analysis of job characteristics, work-family enrichment, job satisfaction, life satisfaction, this research discusses the antecedents and effects of work-family enrichment with the empirical research. And the results show that autonomy, agent feedback and dealing with others are good predictor of job satisfaction; autonomy is also related to life satisfaction; autonomy and task significance has a positive relationship with work-family enrichment. Futhermore, the relationship between autonomy and job satisfaction is mediated by work-family enrichment fully; and work-family enrichment partially mediates the relationship between autonomy and life satisfaction.
