The Impact Of Family Supportive Supervisor Behavior And Support From Family And Friends On Employees' Satisfaction

With the development of economy and material life, People pay more attention to their spiritual life, and they begin to focus on the balance of work and family. All long, working and family life are important areas of people's lives, both of them have a significant impact on their lives, hence the importance of work and family is concerned. The purpose is to explore the how social support (family supportive supervisor behavior, family & friends'support) influence employees'work-family balance, life and job satisfaction.This research is a study conducted through questionnaire method, questionnaires are adopted including family supportive supervisor behavior scale, perceived social support scale, work-family balance scale, life satisfaction scale and job satisfaction scale.213 employees from Shanghai participated in this research, data were collected and analyzed by description statistics, reliability and correlation analyses, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling,the results showed, all the scales have acceptable coefficients, through the SEMs, we found that employees with FSSB have more work-family enrichment, high job satisfaction, the social support can predict work-family conflict, life satisfaction Work-family conflict mediated the relationship between support from family and friends and life & job satisfaction, Work-family enrichment act mediator in the relationship of family supportive supervisor behavior and job satisfaction.This study explored the impact of employees'FSSB and perceived support from family and friends on work-family balance, life and job satisfaction, it can provide new ideas for the employees' satisfaction, and expand the work-family balance research scope; in practice, the result of this study can guiding the daily training.
