Chengdu as the urban and rural comprehensive reform pilot area, since the2007pilot agricultural insurance, whether the agricultural insurance products or the mode of operation of agricultural insurance, it had innovated and achieved certain results.This paper researched the policy agricultural insurance development model in Chengdu, using the documentary research, case analysis, comparative analysis, and taking kiwi insurance for example. After several years of innovative pilot, Chengdu policy agricultural insurance system has been improved; the agricultural insurance products has been enriched, not only developing the traditional agricultural insurance products, but also developing specialty agriculture insurance; the mode of operation of agricultural insurance has been innovated, by the introduction of Assessment agencies or trade associations or agricultural insurance agency; Chengdu gradually moving towards a reasonable premium subsidy policy reduces the policyholders economic burden, and mobilizes the enthusiasm of the farmers and the insurance institutions.(2) The problem of Chengdu policy agricultural insurance.
