The Research On The Problems Of Shanxi Policy-related Agricultural Insurance Development

Shanxi Province is located in the generation of farming region in the middle reaches of the Yellow River, has a long history and culture and farming culture, as the domestic important grain production areas, now contribute strength for national grain depot. Due to complicated geological disaster, the years of natural disasters in Shanxi Province, is given priority to with flooding and drought disasters, which have a severe effect to the farming. To guarantee the sustainable development of the agriculture is not affected by natural factors and volatility, governments need to make an agricultural insurance related policy support. Throughout the nationwide, Shanxi Province is one of the first into the agricultural insurance, and the development of agricultural insurance is not reached satisfied results, this is the agricultural insurance policy is not perfect, imperfect laws and regulations, small coverage and insurance classification less reasons in many aspects. According to the existing laws and regulations and difficult to make up for the loss of the farmers plow under natural disasters, more can’t promote the agricultural development. Therefore reference practical agricultural insurance situation in Shanxi Province, research policy agricultural insurance development in Shanxi Province has great practical significance and application value.In this study, together with the present situation of the development of agricultural insurance in Shanxi Province, applied economics and insurance related knowledge, draw lessons from other provinces policy-related agricultural insurance development practice experience, adopt the method of normative analysis and positive statements, to find the deficiency of policy-oriented agricultural insurance development in Shanxi Province, to its corresponding reform and development.
