Job design has become one of the important ways to motivating employees, and it has an important influence on motivating employees intrinsic work motivation, enhancing employee satisfaction and improving job efficiency. Hotel employee satisfaction is closely related to job design, in addition to the external incentive factors, such as salary, welfare, promotion, whether it is feasible to promote the hotel employee satisfaction by job redesign to upgrade itself motivating potential. This is a new attempt for hotel industry, and it is also the new topic that the scholars pay more attention to.Based on Positivism analysis thought, this paper explores, and chooses high star hotels of Changsha city as the study case. The author obtains the data through social sample survey and interview. Two main sectors those are foundation and demonstration are included. The first sector involves introducing theoretical foundation and research methods, and it includes the anterior2chapters. Firstly the background and significance of the selected subjects are clarified, then the author has a review on the relevant research and theories at home and abroad, further makes a theoretical construct about the paper. The second part of this paper is demonstration analysis. Among this, The third chapter is the research design, including theoretical model, theoretical basis and research hypothesis, questionnaire design, and the methods for data analysis. The fourth chapter is the main part, introducing the background of destination and the status of the social sample survey. At first, examining the reliability and validity of scales through confirmatory factor analysis. Secondly, the IPA analysis on contents of job design. Then the author explored variables difference by independent sample T test and ANOVA. Finally, taking employee individual factors as control variables, discussing the index of job satisfaction scale relationship by regression analysis, and through stepwise multiple regression analysis the paper examined the relationship between the job characteristics, job responsibilities, working relationship dimension and the whole job satisfaction. The fifth chapter is the conclusions and the suggestions, makes a summary for the full text, points out the significance of theory and practice, and then from the point of view of job design, puts forward some suggestions, and points out the issues that need further discussion.
