Since the reform and open policy, social economy of our country has obtained fast development,tourism, as a representative of the service industry has made great progress, the tourism industry hasgradually become China’s national economy important pillar industry. The overall development of economy,society and tourism made the hotel industry of our country grown gradually, especially high star hotelsdeveloped more rapidly, it has become an important department of tourism and even national economy.However, as the high star hotel scale has a great-leap-forward development, the operation income and guestroom occupancy rate of high star hotel in China in recent years began to present a continued decline. Alarge number of high star hotels in the process of building investment are lack of scientific proof, so thatinvest blindly, locate optionally, it made the high star hotels in some developed areas concentrateexcessively, and some less-developed regions lack of high level accommodation facilities that can meetcustomer needs, which made the geographical distribution and market demand of high star hotels are notharmonious.This essay, from the perspective of geography, takes31provinces, municipalities, autonomous regionsfor objects, studies the space distribution features, the influence factors of high star hotel in China and thedynamic mechanism which influent the distribution of it’s distribution on the basis of the theorysummarization and current situation analysis, with various analysis methods. And then puts forward someoptimization measures to offer some reference which can make the space distribution of high star hotelstend to be more reasonable.These contains six chapters, they are in order of research thinking.In the first chapter, it stated the background and the research significance, and summarized theresearch content and research method, the framework of the overall situation.The second chapter studied the distribution of the hotels at home and abroad and spatial distributionof high star hotels.The third chapter of this paper defined the basic concepts, and stated the related theories.In the fourth chapter, the study summarized the development of hotel industry of our country, anddivided the development of the hotel industry of our country as four phases, and striated out the currentsituation of the development of the high star hotels, then analyzed distribution characteristics of high hotels from time and space perspectives.In Chapter5, the study put forward some assumptions of the distribution of the influence factors onthe basis of spatial distribution analysis about high star hotels, did all kinds of analysis to these factors, andconstructed the hypothesis factors model by using the linear multivariate regression method, the test modelwas established. Then the study explained the factor of the model, and built the distribution of powermechanism model of high star hotels in China, and according to the analysis of the dynamic mechanism ofour country, the forecast of the high star hotel industry has made. Meanwhile it put forward some measuresaccording to the distribution factors of our country’s high hotel and in combination with the actual situationof each area, to provide referential Suggestions which can make high star hotels in our country developbetter.Chapter6is research conclusion and discuss.
