At present,high-star hotels operate with service as the core,and the quality of hotel service largely depends on the degree of employees' sense of responsibility.Employee responsibility is an important quality of employees.Employees' sense of responsibility has played a significant role in their performance.Therefore,for high-star hotels,how to promote employee responsibility has become a must and important topic for human resources management.Place identity belongs to the category of environmental psychology.It is a person's psychological induction to the place where he lives,which will have corresponding influence on his behavior.There are many factors influencing the sense of responsibility of hotel employees.Domestic and foreign scholars believe that psychological factors such as organizational support,psychological contract,organizational justice,and external factors such as salary,environment,and corporate culture all affect employee responsibility,but from the perspective of place identity.There is still little research on the relationship between place identity and employee responsibility.According to the survey of high-star hotels in Jimo District of Qingdao,the current hotel staff can be divided into local employees and foreign employees according to different groups.These two types of employees have different working environment,habits and ideas,and their working environment cognition is different,resulting in differences in employee accountability.Based on the reality of human resource management in high-star hotels in Jimo District,this study focuses on local employees and foreign employees in high-star hotels in Jimo District,focusing on the impact of local identity of high-star hotel employees on employee responsibility and group differences.The adjustment effect may provide some reference for the hotel to better enhance the sense of employee responsibility.Six high-star hotels in jimo District of Qingdao city were selected for this study.700 questionnaires were distributed and 364 were valid.Among them,105 are local employees and 259 are non-local employees.With the method of questionnaire,the investigation results using variance analysis and regression analysis methods are studied,two conclusions: one is responsible for hotel employees place identity has significant positive influence,including place identity three dimensions(environmental identity,place attachment,self consistency)for the employee responsibility four dimensions(to the best of his or her duties,unity,helpful,diligent efforts and achievements in the pursuit of)have significant positive effects;Second,the group differences based on household registration have a significant moderating effect on the relationship between place identity and the sense of responsibility of hotel employees,and this moderating effect is stronger among non-local employees.Through to the related literature research,research on place identity and the relationship between the hotel staff responsibility is relatively scarce,this study illustrates the place identity and in connection with the hotel staff a sense of responsibility,and the boundary of the study on the relationship between the attribute differences into group guidance,draw based on the household register different population differences of place identity between the hotel staff a sense of responsibility and a significant regulating effect,further expanded the research content,enriched the hotel human resources management related research.At the same time,in the current era of unprecedented population migration and flow,this study can provide some reference for the relatively developed high-star hotels in the areas with rapid population flow to reasonably adjust the staff structure,improve the overall sense of responsibility of the staff team,and further improve the quality of hotel service.
