Since the1980s, the service industry develops rapidly, especially the producer service, which is the core of modern service industry. It has become an important engine to stimulateeconomic growth. The development of producer services will not only enhance the urbanmultiple service and whole welfare level, also contribute to the optimization of regionalindustrial structure and narrow the regional economic development gap and promote theharmonious development of the region. Therefore, the research on agglomeration level ofcentral region of China producer service and its influence factors has great theoretical andpractical significance for promoting industries upgrade with transition and the rise of centralChina. The research methods are mainly empirical and comparative analysis. The researchcontents include the following two aspects: one is the measure of producer service currentagglomeration level in the central region of China. The investigation and analysis is from3angles which include the whole, every sub-sector and prefecture-level city. Then the producerservice agglomeration theoretical analysis framework of central region set up. The other is toexplore the influence factors of agglomeration. And the object of study is a total of81prefecture-level in six central provinces. The empirical research methods are mainlyeconometric analysis. Based on this, some reasonable political suggestions are proposedwhich is for the problems existed in the process of agglomeration development in the centralregions. It was found out that the agglomeration development of producer service is relativelyslow in the six central provinces, the influence factors are complex and there is a bigdifference with other regions. The main influence factors are industrial relevance, level of urbanization, level of information, human resources, the size of government, economicdevelopment level, the gathering economic and etc. Except for the level of agriculturaldevelopment of central region, the other factors promote the agglomeration development ofproducer service. However, due to a number of problems in the development process ofcentral region, some factors are not significant. So the government of the central region needspromoting agglomeration development of producer service from the optimization of industrialstructure, strength clusters and urbanization, increasing government support as well as theintroduction and cultivation of high-quality talents. And constantly enhance the overallcompetitiveness of central region, narrowing the difference with the eastern region.
