The Comparison Of Foreign Trade Development Mode And The Reference To Jilin Province

Jilin Province is located in the center of the three northeastern provinces,however, the economy is relatively back. Foreign trade plays an important role ineconomic growth as the troika for stimulating economic development。However, JilinProvince’s foreign trade’s dependence is very low, foreign trade needs developing.With the establishment of the Economic Zone of Chang-Ji-Tu, which means thatChina should vigorously develop border trade. How could Jilin seize the opportunityto achieve economic growth? From theoretical research, as well as development ofmore advanced and typical trade zone at home and abroad, this paper attempts tosummarizes the commonness and differences, trying to sum up the experience ofsuccess and finding a suitable way for Jilin Province Foreign Trade.Firstly, this Paper arranges the economic theory of the development of foreigntrade from a theoretical level，hoping to find something important to guide to JilinProvince’s economic development. The development of foreign trade theory has gonethrough three stages: First stage—the theory of protective trade，mainly including thetheory of mercantilism, infant industry protection theory, the theory of tariffprotection, ultra protect trade theory；The second stage—the theory of free trade stage,including the absolute interest theory, the theory of comparative advantage and factorendowments theory；The third stage—the development and revision of the theory offree trade, intra-industry trade theory, Theory of Demand Preference Similarity, andproduct life cycle theory.Secondly, from the macro-level analysis of the mode and cause of thedevelopment of foreign trade in the United States, Germany, Japan, this paper hopes to sum up how the game is played and then take what foreign trade policy betweenone economy and other economy. Foreign trade policy of the United States inaccordance with the time can be divided into several stages, followed by the era offiscal tariff, the protectionism policy. Multilateral free trade era, the era of excessivepolicy fair trade policies era, the era of strategic policy, a competitive liberalizationera. Germany’s economy is export-oriented and foreign trade has always been thedriving force of its economic development. Japan advocated the policy of “tradingnation”. From the seventies and eighties of the20th century, Japan carried out thetrade and investment liberalization policies while in the late eighties, they graduallystarted the “domestic demand-led” type strategy. After the Hiroshima Agreement,theJapanese carried out the strategic import trade protection. Since the sub-prime crisis,they have continued to implement the strategy of” nation based on trade andinvestment”.Then by studying domestic Yangtze River Delta, the”Sunan model” and the“Wenzhou model”, the Pearl River Delta, and the Xinjiang region’s trade pattern, thispaper attempts to analyze the characteristics, causes and effects of the regionaleconomic mode.Finally, through the analysis of the summary of the Trade Development of JilinProvince and resource endowments to identify an approximate path for the JilinProvincial Foreign Trade, we must seize the opportunity and vigorously promote theeconomic growth.
