Now is the age of the knowledge economy,knowledge is the most important economicdevelopment capital,enterprise between the competition focus has shifted from physical capital tointellectual capital.Consulting company is a typical knowledge-intensive enterprises,knowledgeworkers is the owner of knowledge capital,is the main body and core resources,is the mainundertaker consulting study.Consulting industry in our country has developed rapidly in recent20years,puts forward new requirements for consulting the employees’ quality.Due to the old staffperformance evaluation system and consulting research its cycle is long,the industry vulnerable,high risk,the intellectual property rights to protection features,resulting in a consulting companyknowledge type staff personnel in our country is not stable,serious loss,enthusiasm is not high,hasbeen a bottleneck restricting the development of consulting company.However,the current researchon knowledge worker performance evaluation system is rare,performance evaluation and thethought and method of the current general performance evaluation system can not be directlyapplied to knowledge workers.How to capture,retain and give full play to the potential of knowledge workers,to mobilize theenthusiasm of the knowledge staff,give full scope to the talents,make the best use of the talents,establish suitable for knowledge staff effective performance evaluation system,becomes the key todecision consulting enterprise success or failure.In the new period,therefore,necessary forconsulting enterprise knowledge staff system of performance evaluation for scientific research.This paper first elaborates on the definition and characteristics of consulting industry,knowledge type staff and other related theories,which lays a good theoretical foundation for thefollow-up research work.It analyzes the present situation of consulting industry performanceevaluation, summarizes the existing problems.Further build the consulting knowledge staffperformance evaluation system,including assessment index system and evaluation method,etc.,andthrough specific case application,verify the operability and practicability of the evaluation system.
