Under the trend of globalization of economic and finance,competition in banking becomes more and more fierce. The financialcrisis in2008has brought heavy challenge to global banking industry,which induces much thinking on current financial system and muchattention on bank competitiveness evaluation. In such environment,banking in Haidong Prefecture should clearly understand its owncompetitiveness situation, and advantages and shortcomings, andrelative countermeasures. So stressing on the current competitiveness ofof the Agricultural Bank of Haidong Prefecture, and investigating theaffective factors, this dissertation puts forward correspondingcountermeasures,which are hoped to reference to the practice.At first, this paper describes the competitiveness andcompetitiveness of commercial banks in content,the theory of thecompetitiveness of enterprises, and then start on the research ofcompetitiveness of listed commercial banks. Existing evaluation methodof competitiveness in commercial banks,and then demonstrates theapplicability of factor analysis and gives a brief introduction to thismethod. Then following the principles with operability and correlation,selects17indicators which can reflect the competitiveness of commercialbanks to make up the scientific and reason index system. Then itsummarizes the relative theories about banking competitiveness, and introduces the current situation of the Agricultural Bank of HaidongPrefecture, Qinghai Branch and its position in province. Finally,thispaper put forward to policy recommendations to enhance thecompetitiveness level of the Agricultural Bank of Haidong Prefecture.
