This year, the new capital management measures have beenimplemented, the constraints on capital of commercial banks is more and more strictly. Thecentral bank of China open up the deposit and loan interest rate floating space, this will leadto further reduction in Net Interest Margin, and increase competition also. The China BankingRegulatory Commission issued a series of measures to check banking service charge,this actreduce the cost of the company, prohibit interest charges for irregular operation strictly.Non-intrest income will be more difficult to obtain. at the same time,we should cognizethat the recovery of the world economy is speeding up, the global industrial structureadjustment has made new progress. In general, there are both opportunities and challenges,commercial banks are facing more opportunities than challenges.In this thesis,we analyseAgricultural Bank of China(ABC bank) and other11listed commercial banks’competitiveness, then find out the advantages and disadvantages of ABC bank, and putsforward the corresponding countermeasures. In the process of research, mainly adopt theresearch method of combining normative analysis and empirical analysis method. In thisthesis, the most important thing is to clear what is competitiveness of commercial bank,andthen the construction of a commercial bank competitiveness evaluation system, and thenmakes a horizontal comparative analysis and longitudinal comparative analysis.Not onlymake a clear competitive advantages of ABC bank, but also make an very importantsuggestion to improve the competitiveness.
