| Enron, Andersen and Tychus went bankrupt for the leadership of the moral problems, which makes people gradually begin to pay close attention to the leader of the ethics. In1976, Silin put forward the definition of moral leadership. Zheng Boxun, Ling Wenquan, Sun Liping further enriched the theory of moral leadership. However, the theory of moral leadership is in its infancy stage, moral leadership effectiveness still need to conduct in-depth research and discussion. Therefore, based on the previous literature, the article studies the influence on organizational citizenship behavior of moral leadership. Using the leader-member exchange as the intermediary variables, the article verifies the dimensions of moral leadership. Based on the results, article advices to improve the moral leadership of leaders, improve leader-member relationship, and ultimately promote organizational citizenship behavior of employees.The article has three parts. The first part sorts out, analyzes and comments the theory about moral leadership, organizational citizenship behavior and leader-member exchange. Based on the literature, the article proposes the model and the hypothesis. The second part measures the moral leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. It analyzes the employees’aesthesis about the dimensions of moral leadership and organizational citizenship behavior with different characteristics. The paper further analyzes the relationship of moral leadership, leader-member relationship and organizational citizenship behavior.The main conclusions of the article are as follows:First, it verifies the dimensions of moral leadership and that is incorruptibility integrity, concern about subordinates’ development and morality. Second, staffs with different characteristics have significantly differences in leader-member relationship and organizational citizenship behavior. Third, moral leadership has a significant positive correlation with organizational citizenship behavior. Fourth, it verifies the intermediary role of leader-member relationship.The main innovations of the article are as follows:First, it verifies the three dimensions of moral leadership and riches the study about leadership. Second, hierarchical regression analysis finds out that leader-member exchange is the mediator between moral leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. Thirdly, it verifies the influence of organizations and individual characteristics. Fourthly, the article advices to improve the moral leadership of leaders, improve leader-member relationship, and promote organizational citizenship behavior of employees from the organizational level, the level of professional managers and employees. |
