In the era of market economy, enterprise managers think that if the enterprise can not be sustained innovation, then ultimately could not escape the fate of being eliminated. Currently, the word "innovation" became one of the most populart and cutting-edge keywords. For example, the Apple Corp confirmed in the limelight, thanks to its strong innovation ability, pushed into a new stride forward singing militant songs in the electronics market and achieved great success in the global market. Therefore, the enterprise innovation became a hot research pioint in management science and sociology. From a sociological point of view, improveing enterprise innovation performance mainly lies in the effective access to advanced knowledge, information and technology resources with internal resources and external capital. In recent years, the scope of research on social capital expanded greatly, studies show a crossing situation in management, organizational behavior, and the fusion of computer science and technology to promote the development of enterprise innovation in social science and science of networks, thus motivated researchers made many achievements in this field.Past research most of all barely started from the enterprise external network relationship or to interior interaction of the company to study enterprise innovation performance. The former did not consider the features and quality of those network ties, while the latter ignored the potential effects of the external environment on enterprise innovation. Therefore, this paper on the basis of the existing social capital research results that related, according to the comprehensive consideration of the enterprise’s external social capital and the enterprises internal absorptive capacity, proposed a theoretical model that the absorption ability plays an intermiediation role in the impact of corporate social capital on innovation performance. This paper studies the structural, relational and cognitive dimensions of social capital, and further divided the three dimension into sub dimensions, analysed the external interaction, internal interaction of structure dimension, trust and norms in relational dimension and common vision, common language of cognitive dimension’s influence on innovation performance, and analyzed the the mediating effect of absorptive capacity in three dimensions and its sub-dimension in this relationship.In this study, based on the previous maturity scale, various types of small and medium-sized enterprises were chosen the study object, based on Survey method of data collection, and SPSS and Lisrel statistical software were used.ln hypothesis testing, this paper used the confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and other methods. Finally, through theoretical analysis and empirical study, came to the following conclusion:(1) Without considering the effects of absorptive capacity, internal and external interaction of structural dimensions, trust and norms of relational dimension, common vision and common language of cognitive dimension has significantly positive effects on the performance of enterprise innovation. In which the interaction between the enterprise and the external networks, especially with customers, suppliers, cooperative enterprises and universities, research institutions has tremendous effects on performance of enterprise innovation. Trust and norms between enterprises also have a positive effect on innovation performance. In addition, between enterprises, a similar common vision and common language can promote the cooperation between enterprises, making the iteracion process more smoothly, which at last improve innovation performance.(2) Based on hierarchical regression analysis, the enterprise social capital dimensions and sub-dimensions and absorptive capacity get into the regression equation at the same time, the original effect is significantly reduced, suggesting that social capital structural dimension, and cognitive dimension through the improvement of absorptive capacity and promote enterprise innovation performance,while social capital relational dimension does not go through absorptive capacity. Therefore, study on the theory model of this paper was partially supported, that is absorption capacity in the intermediary effect of strutural dimension, cognitive dimention of corporate social capital on innovative performance was supported,while the intermidiate effect of absorbptive capacity in the relationship between social captial relational dimention and enterprise innovation was not supported. And in the final chapter,this paper analyzed the reasons that potentially lead to the dissupport of this conclusion.(3) On the basis of EFA, this paper conducted confirmatory factor analysis of large sample data, to test the validity of measurement model of enterprise social capital dimensions. The measurement results show that the model has good reliability and validity.The main research results are discussed and the limits of research and future research directions are described. This study is based on the background of Chinese culture and electronic information, manufacturing industry and emerging industry specific factors, including the work of subdivision of dimensions of corporate social capital, drawing into the absorptive capacity perspective.And also did empirical study of social capital’s influence mechanism on innovation and the management practice recommendated, hoping to provide reference for the related research and enterprise practice.
