The Current Our Country Enterprise Society Responsibility Construction Problem Analysis

The enterprise is the basis of the microcosmic economy. Thedevelopment of enterprises is not only related to the healthy andsustainable development of the national economy but also directlyrelated to the vital interests of the public and the people. Because ofthe influence of long-term extensive development, China’s enterprisesattaching importance to the pace of development and neglecting ofsocial responsibilities lead to many problems such as environmentalpollution, damage to the labor rights, food and drug quality problems,mine accidents and so on, which not only cause economic losses tothe enterprise itself but also produce the social credit crisis. WhenPeople condemn and hate unscrupulous companies strongly, theybegan to think rationally more about the significance of socialresponsibility for the development of the enterprise itself, thesurrounding environment and also social relations. Thus, the idea thatcompanies should undertake some social responsibilities has becomethe consensus of the whole society.At present, theoretical research of corporate socialresponsibilities is in the ascendant, which is deeply studied byChinese and foreign scholars from different perspectives and even arelatively complete theoretical system has been being formed. Thispaper presents its content in the view of sociology, and reviews aseries of theories such as the original social contract theory, thecorporate citizenship theory, stakeholder theory and the socialcapitals theory and so on. Since that we can provide theoretical andpractical guidance for building our cause of corporate social responsibilities. This paper tries to grasp the clue of development oncorporate social responsibility from the macroscopic angle and putsforward the gradual process for its construction: First, thedevelopment of corporate social responsibility must go through threestages of cognitive, corporate citizenship and social entrepreneurship;secondly, in this three stages, according to the differences of theposition and role among the three main players-government, business,and society in the market, the three implied differently stages will besummarized. On this basis, the general task to construct our socialresponsibility will be put forward. Namely, to establish a system ofsocial responsibility with the substantial content of governmentguidance, self-discipline of the enterprises, and the socialsupervision.The development of the corporate social responsibility mustundergo a long period of time. China’s enterprises who truly eager toenhance the international competitiveness and influence mustconform to the general construction-trend of corporate socialresponsibility and regulate the activities of international business bythe international standards of social responsibility, then constantlyenhance international competitiveness to really achieve the goal of"going out".On this background, by in-depth study on the theory ofcorporate social responsibility to guide business practices willundoubtedly become a catalyst for the sustainable development ofmodern enterprises, the encourage of social equality and justice, andpromotion of human well-being.The investigation methods comprehensively using in this paperare as follows: Firstly, literature study will be used. Through collecting a large number of documents, the course and context of thedevelopment of the corporate-social-responsibility theory at homeand abroad will be clarified, the status and results of the constructionon our corporate social responsibility will be tease out; Secondly,methods such as field visits, interviews and case studies will be used.Fortunately, I honored to participate in the field research about thepractice of social responsibility in Aluminum Corporation of ChinaLimite. With considering our country’s actuality, I try to take a deepanalysis in this case; Thirdly, also a comparative analysis enrichingthe content of corporate social responsibility will be used. I comparedthe status of domestic corporate social responsibility with the foreignenterprises’, investigated practical differences on social responsibilityin state-owned enterprises, private enterprises and foreign-fundedenterprises on a classification, and comparatively analyzed the roleand significance in government, business and social in constructingcorporate social responsibility.
