Recently, all companies are facing opportunities and challenges of competition inthe world. Only enterprises count on their employee’s perpetual creativities, can theysurvive and develop. However, dealing with the differences of management validityderiving from employee’s individual differences, how to choose an effective leadingpattern in order to improve the employee’s creativity and then enhance theenterprises’ competitiveness is a necessary question for all the leaders to think over.In view of above, with the help of literature reading and demonstration study,this paper stands on business management practices to investigate the relationshipbetween transformational leadership and employee’s creativity in the background ofChinese situation, even introduces the leading edge of motivation theory—regulatoryfocus as a moderator to further explore the relationship between them. This paperdoes not only explore the influences of the population statistics feature on theotherness of employee’s creativity, but also analyses the conclusions and raisesadvices for business management.This paper obtains these following important conclusions: Firstly, in thepopulation statistics feature, employee’s creativity has significant differences ingender, education background, annual position level, enterprise nature but notincluding age and scale. Secondly, transformational leadership strengthensemployee’s creativity. Visionary, individualized consideration and charisma all hassignificant positive influence to the employee’s creativity excepting morale modeling.Thirdly, part of regulatory focuses has significant moderating function on therelationship between transformational leadership and employee’s creativity: thecombined effect of transformational leadership and promotion focus has notsignificant influence on employee’s creativity; but not as the same, the combinedeffect of transformational leadership and prevention focus has significant negativeinfluence on employee’s creativity.Basing on the research conclusions, this paper stands on management practicesand provides management advice for the leaders. As the leaders, they should payattention to their companies’ human resource timely, value the creativities, much holdon training for employee and take corresponding management measures according tothe employee’s different characteristics and so on. All in all, only we fully use thesuperiority of transformational leadership and positively cultivate the employee’s regulatory focus being benefitial to the creativity, can we strengthen the employee’screativity and futher promote the enterprise’s competitiveness.
