As a research content for positive psychology, work engagement arouse wide concernin recent years. The standard improvement of the employees’ work engagement isimportant for ameliorating the corporation’s performance, employee’s highinvolvement in the job is also a reflection for the core competition of a corporation inthe contrary. As one of the most crucial elements for a corporation environment,leaderships unreplaceable for the employee’s work engagement.Transformational leadership theory is at the center of the leadership researches sinceBurns (1978) propose it in the first time which mentioned transformational leadershipeffecting the employee’s work engagement, however, what kind of transformationalleadership behavior and how they effect the work engagement still in misty and lackof in-depth study. This research start up with the improvement of employee’s workengagement and introduce Chronic Regulatory Focus to analysis howtransformational leadership to effect employee’s work engagement. Through which,this research make an attempt to let the leaders well know how to effect theiremployee’s work engagement then to improve the enterprise’s performance andemployee’s loyalty.In the first place, this research based on deep analysis of previousdocuments to build theory model and propose research hypothesis; in the second place,take mature contents as reference, we made questionnaire and took it to collect thedata sample, in the end, we take use of SPSS19.0software to analysis the data andverify the research theory model and research hypothesis. From which, we got belowtwo summaries:1. Transformational leadership is effecting the employee’s workengagement. For which, leaders’ charisma, individual concern and morality action isproportional to the employee’s work engagement, however, whether the prospectionmotivation is also proportional to the employee’s work engagement is not yet to beverified.2. Chronic regulatory focus has some obvious effect on the relationshipbetween the Transformational leadership and employee’s work engagement.Promotion focus has positive effect on the relationship between the two, however,prevention focus don’t have obvious results.
