In recent years, the competitive pressure of enterprises is increasing with the diversity of the market condition, but the most people can’t stand the pressure, hence, they will have a series of the negative influence on the physically and psychological of the individuals. This called ’job burnout’. The problem of job burnout for the employees is more and more important for business managers. Then more and more scholars paied their attention to the job burnout.At present, the most literature study will focus on psychological factors that have an impact on job burnout, such as role stress, role ambiguity, personality, etc., and the common consequences variables focus on the aspects which are usually job satisfaction, turnover intentionand so on. Moreover, in literature of the previous studies about job burnout, mostly on teachers, police officers, nurses, and other industries as the sample.In this study, on the support of literature and theory, job burnout research model is established and research hypothesis is put forward, based on the specific circumstances of the job burnout in china. The model is found by the job plan and workload objectivity as the antecedents of job burnout and the team performance as the consequences variables of job burnout. This study making and revision of the questionnaire, by the analysis of the questionnaire survey to156employees in China, use the Spss16.0and Amos21.0to do the reliability analysis, factor analysis, basic statistical analysis, regression analysis and correlation analysis and analysis the data and discuss the relationship between the job characteristic and job burnout and team performance.The research hypothesis is verified basically and the following results are got:(1) the two variables of the job characteristics (job plan, workload) has significant influence on team performance;(2) the two variables of job characteristics (job plan, workload) on the three dimensions of job burnout has significant influence;(3) the three dimensions of job burnout has significant influence on team performance;(4) the job burnout in job characteristics (job plan, workload) which affect the team performance plays a mediating role completely.The results not only enrich the content of the theory research for job burnout, also has the very good application value for improving the enterprise’s human resources planning management, improving the employee’s psychological state and work state, improving the employee’s work efficiency and the team performance, enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. Then it can make the enterprise impregnable position in the increasingly fierce competition today.
