With the aggravation of the market competition, the traditional productive decision organization structure factors are not suitable for the current market competition. Major manufacturers of marketing team construction also more and more attention. However, the current set up on their own marketing team of the various manufacturers are not very mature, basically is taken by the general manager or other leadership of the company through the occupation of the market staff recruitment website, did not form a good evaluation mechanism. How to find a marketing team leader to lead the whole team to achieve better performance, various manufacturers are very concerned about the problem.This paper from the field of information security as the starting point, starting from the personality theory, in many of the personality theory personality theory as the basis of DISC, Marketing team leader to drive type(D),(I), affinity charismatic type(S) and executive force(C) of four different character analysis, summarizes the characteristics and shortcomings of the advantage in the area of sales. This paper established a marketing team performance evaluation system, defines the connotation of the indexes of the marketing team leader characteristics and performance evaluation system, and established the relationship model of personality theory of DISC marketing team leader and team performance based on character.In this paper, through a case study of A company, through a questionnaire survey of A companies throughout the 55 regional marketing team leader’s personality characteristics are analyzed. The regional marketing team performance data summary. At the same time, the relationship between the marketing team leader character and team performance were studied. The conclusion of this paper can provide some suggestions for the domestic manufacturers of the marketing team leader selection, also has the certain enlightenment function to the marketing team building and market development.
