In all times people have paid a very close attention to what they consume. But recently due to the rapid development of technologies and scarcity of resources arise more issues in the food production field.In this paper, existing food safety issues had been identified through theoretical background analysis and conducted comparative analysis of Chinese and Western customers awareness of food safety. The main characteristics of Chinese customers were also pointed out. In addition, the main differences in people’s attitude to food safety field were determined and several ways of how to improve level of customers’ awareness of food safety were offered.Firstly, this paper analyzes the background and the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility basic features, the main trends of CSR in food industry and also describes the basic theories of food safety. Secondly, the paper presents the main overview of consumers’behavior and methodology that was used to conduct the research. Finally, the main plot of the paper was to get a convenient sample of respondents by virtue of created questionnaire in three languages-English, Russian, and Chinese. Based on obtained data to conduct comparative analysis between these three variants of surveys and to point out the main features that avert Chinese customers level of food safety awareness from Western customers and to introduce ways of improvements.
