The Sino-US trade relationship is one of today’s most important bilateral economicand trade relations. The total trade volume between China and US has more than2trillion dollars since1979. As the second largest trading partner, the United States is alsothe largest export market of China. Both China and the United States get huge gains fromthe Sino-US trade. The Sino-US trade is rapidly developing, at the same time, manyfrictions and disputes of Sino-US trade are also emerge in endlessly. American interestgroups often take a variety of means, such as political contributions and internal andexternal lobbying to influence government decision-making. The impact of interestgroups in US trade policy toward China has become increasingly apparent since the1990s. In this context, the study of interest groups’ impact in US trade policy towardChina has important practical significance.This article applies a political-economic analysis method to analyze the impact ofinterest groups in the US trade policy toward China. First, this article discusses the waysof interest groups to participate in American politics, and the interest groups related tothe US trade policy toward China. Then, this article uses the political-economic analysismethod to analyze the interest group’s impact in trade policy, and uses the game theory toanalyze typical cases. Through analyze typical cases from microscopic aspect to studythe impact of interest groups in the US trade policy toward China. Finally, according toanalysis to draw the relevant conclusions of this article and put forward policyrecommendations.
