Small and medium enterprises have been becoming an important part of China’s economic development since the period of reform and opening up. The development of small and medium-sized enterprises is closely related to the overall development of the whole economy. However, the growth and development of SMEs in China are always facing some difficulties such as financing difficulties, the disability to integrate resources and weak management level. It has become an indisputable fact that the SEMs lack growth and are in the plight of the short-lived condition. Since the late1980s, more and more enterprises obtained growth with the development of the emerging economies of virtual enterprises, enterprise groups, enterprise clusters, strategic alliances and franchise organizations through the external network. External network has become one of the main ways to seek cooperation and gets access to resources. In this context, the researches on enterprise social networking and business growth are drew more and more attention, and the research on this issue has become an important theoretical and practical issues in a strategic and forward-looking point.In this context, based on the life cycle theory, this paper is from embeddedness perspective to study the relationship between network structure and network path. To explore the impact of the growing SME growth and their different types of external network relationship, this paper tries to study the mutual construction evolution which characterizes network with growing SME growth path. Firstly, the thesis clarifies the research background and significance, and then the article reviews some related research by domestic and foreign scholars on the growth of SMEs, SME social network, social networking and business growth relationship. Furthermore, through theoretical deduction based on the study of literature, the paper tries to build a theoretical model of network evolution between mutual construction and growing SME growth. The analysis tool is based on empirical research methods---SPSS analysis software, portraying the growing SME growth, social relationship network, marketing network and innovative network variables. The purpose of analysis is to further explore the specific relationship between the variables and verify the underlying assumptions of growing SMEs and external network, eventually building a conceptual model. Through the analysis of the empirical results, the paper amends articles of the research model to describe and analyze the relationship between the social relationship network, market network, innovation network and long-term SME growth. The conclusions come to the study. Finally, based on the study results the paper draws the corresponding conclusions to look forward to the revelation for future research.
