In the mid-seventies of the last century, an American Psychoanalysis called Freudenberger first proposed the concept of job burnout, and thereafter, plenty of western researchers have been furthering the study in this field. Burnout has been a hot topic overseas in the researches on Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. Since the end of the last century, burnout has also been laid emphasis on with the quickening pace of life in our country. And since the1990s, the researches have been being conducted in an endless stream, which is focused on the occupation groups such as teachers, medical care personnel, psychological counselors or police in which the phenomenon of burnout is easier to be seen.As the occupation group of airlines which directly contact with the outside, flight attendants can not only influence airlines’ images directly but also be a significant aspect of aviation safety. As we can see, the flight attendants’ burnout has a huge influence, yet the related researches are still few now. Furthermore, when it comes to the problems such as the relation between the flight attendants’ burnout and the organizational justice or the consequence of the flight attendants’ burnout, the related researches are even fewer.This research uses196flight attendants from Shanghai Airlines as the subject investigated in order to conduct the analyses as follow:The base situation of the flight attendants’ burnout; The relation between the flight attendants’burnout and the organizational justice; The consequence of the flight attendants’burnout.The result of the research is as follow:(1) The overall level of the flight attendants’ burnout is a little higher. Especially when it comes to the emotional exhaustion dimension, the group of flight attendants gets a much higher score than any other professions.(2) The level of the flight attendants’ burnout has differences to different extents in the demographic variables (Such as sex, age, seniority or post).(3) All the four dimensions of the organizational justice can obviously improve the prediction of the burnout.(4) All the three dimensions of the burnout can obviously improve the prediction of the consequence of the burnout.(5) All the three dimensions of the burnout are significant intervening variables between the organizational justice and the consequence of the burnout.
