Study On The Coupling Coordinative Degree Between Tourism Industry And Regional Economy In Xinjiang Bazhou

The tourism development leave of Xinjiang Bazhou is later and backward than thedeveloped area. In recent years, the tourism of Bazhou developed very fast, it madegratifying achievements and positive effect. The tourism development also made someeconomic benefits. As we all know, the tourism industry can’t develop without thesupport of the regional economy. The regional economic growth also requires theencouragement of tourism. Discussing the interaction and the coordinated developmentdegree of the tourism industry and regional economic in Bazhou are the purpose of thisstudy. This paper has a qualitative analysis about the conditions and characteristics ofthe development in Bazhou.Then, elaborating a mutually reinforcing relationshipbetween the tourism industry and the regional economy. Based on the coupling functionin physics, this paper designs the degree index system, the calculation method and themodel of tourism industry and regional economy in Bazhou, and analysis the data from2004to2011.There some conclusions are as follows:（1）Establishing the regression model and using the SPSS software to analyze thecorrelation of the GDP and tourism income. The results show that they have a strongrelationship. The tourism income increase1yuan, the GDP increase about33yuan. Thetourism development impetus effect is obvious and the potential is huge.（2）There are some changes between the tourism industry and regional economicof the coupling coordination: the extremely imbalance in2004changed into endangeredimbalance in2007, then in2011,it changed a well-coordinated.（3）The coupled of tourism industry and regional economy in Bazhou can divideinto three stages: The imbalance stage in2004—2006, in this stage, the couplingbetween the tourism industry and the regional economy had some change,from theextreme imbalance to the serious imbalance, then, it changed mild imbalance. Thetransition period in2007—2008, in this stage, the coupling coordination degree betweenthe tourism industry and regional economy in2007was endangered imbalance. Thecoupling coordination was barely coordination in2008.The coordination in2009—2011, in this period, the coordination between the tourism industry and regional economy hadthree changes: from the primary coordination to the mid-level,then changed into a goodcoordination.(4)From the two subsystems of the tourism industry and regional economy can beseen that:The regional tourism industry and regional economy had a gradually risingtrend. The tourism industry and the regional economy in2004—2005developed veryslowly. After2005, Bazhou developed the economy vigorously, improved theinvestment environment and changed the management mode. The tourism industry andregional economy has been leap-style development. From2005to2011, the tourismindustry and the regional economy had almost linear growth.(5) For the high quality coordinated between regional economy and tourismindustry in Bazhou, improving the regional economy development and achieving arapid development of tourism industry, proposing some suggestions and measures:strengthening the construction of infrastructure, expanding the service qualities andspace range of tourism, adjusting the structure of tourism products, strengthening thetourism promotion, strengthening tourism education and training, improving the qualityof professionals, deepening the regional tourism cooperation and promoting sustainabletourism.
