According to the automatic weather station needs and the development of information technology, this paper has developed the terminal software system of automatic weather station and the software system of its calibration equipment--signal simulator. This paper also gets the operation state according to the analysis of observed data of automatic weather stations. It is of great significance for the development of automatic weather station and its signal simulator and guarantees the operation of automatic weather station. The main research contents are as follows:Combined with the database of SQL Server2000, the automatic weather station terminal software system has been developed in the Delphi7.0environment. The function of the automatic weather station terminal software system has been determined through the analysis of the task facing and modeling data and user operation. According to the terminal software running processes, the software has been points module designed. The terminal software has finished the task of data acquisition, real-time display and data storage for the various meteorological elements through related parameters setting. And also the software has realized the visual real-time monitoring of automatic weather station.Combined with the database of Access, the automatic weather station calibration software system has been developed in the Delphi7.0environment. The software has realized the management and control of the signal simulator. It supports the test of the data collector in automatic weather station when it is running with automatic weather station signal simulator.This paper has proposed a kind of analysis method for automatic weather station observed data based on improved genetic algorithm and least square method. In this method, establish the polynomial between data values and time after the pretreatment of observed data. This method uses the cross-genetic manipulation based on adaptive crossover. The optimal group could be obtained based on the fitness function. Use the polynomial determined by least square method and sample data to get the fitting results. The operating state of automatic weather station has been reflected by the comparison between the fitting results and the observed values.The development of automatic weather station terminal and calibration software is essential parts of the system establishment process of automatic weather station and its calibration equipment. It is very important to complete the task of instrument development. The data analysis methods based on improved genetic algorithm and least square method has been used in terms of feedback of automatic weather station operating state. It has provided technical guarantee for the stable operation of automatic weather station.
