In this dissertation, a real-time multiple task data acquisition system for automatic weather station based on ARM and uC/OS-II is proposed as well as designed. This system is developed based on 32bit high performance ARM processor S3C44B0X and embedded operating system uC/OS-II, with some general interface (such as Ethernet, USB, RS232, EDE) expanded. ARM SDT 2.51 is used as the development tool. The system makes full use of the high performance, low power and low cost of ARM microprocessor and the advantage of uC/OS-II, providing an economical and practical solution for the data acquisition of automatic weather station.In chapter 1, the basal circumstance of data acquisition and the automatic weather station is introduced. Then, a comprehensive description about the significance of the research is given. At last, The current research status and the main content of this dissertation is also described.In chapter 2, a description about some basic conception in embedded system and the general method about the design of embedded system is given.In chapter 3, the hardware design of the system is discussed in detail.In chapter 4, the mechanism of uC/OS-II is discussed, as well, its transplantation to ARM processor is also expatiated.In chapter 5, the software design of the system is discussed in detail, including the introduce of the development environment, the design of startup code, the drive design of devices, and the development of application program.In chapter 6, the main research conclusion is summarized.
