3D laser scanning technology is an emerging technology, which is another new technicalrevolution following the GPS’s.3D laser scanning technology has many advantages that wecould never experienced through the traditional technologies. For example, this technologydoes not ask a monitoring stations in advance,it won’t contact the measuredtopography, what’s more,it has a high precision, measuring speed and a high density of theobservational data.Combine with the specific topographic survey data and the modelingresult,I study the methods of this technology used in topographic survey. This dissertationbased on the technology of3D laser scanning, combine with the data processing and modelinganalysis methods, studied the integration of basic theory and method towards this technologyused in topography surveying.Several technical methods and their principles, the source of the point cloud data arepresented in this dissertation firstly. Also,I mainly studied the application of the groundthree-dimensional laser scanner Leica Scanstation2in Xi’an Ba’qiao terrain data in theprocess of scanning and subsequent data processing.During the data processing,I mainly usethe Cyclone software and the Geomagic Studio software12.Matching of point cloud splicing, denoising smoothing and hole repair processing, and with least squares collocation method asthe principle of combining the Visual Basic language compiled the corresponding program ofdata processing,.The point cloud to dilute and compression are needed for modeling of thepoint cloud data.In the mathematical modeling, this paper both adopts the Geomagic Studiosoftware12and Surfer8.0software during modeling process. In accordance with the actualtopography, collected in combination with the3d point cloud and CASS generate the3dmodel and contour map. The application of3D laser scanning technology integration oftopographic survey is a new content in the research of digital map, in combination with thefield experiment terrain scanning, the point cloud data processing and analysis, probes into thefeasibility of this theoretical method. And the final result shows the expected effect.
