With the increasing demand for data in various fields,3D laser scanner enters people's field of vision for its characteristics being respected of simple operation,obtaining large amount of data quickly and high precision and so on.The scanner scans the object by firing the laser,and obtains the three-dimensional coordinate data of each point.And the piling of a large number of points is the external model of the object.In this paper,the system structure and principle of the scanner are introduced in detail,and the existing scanners are analyzed and summarized.And the HS650 scanner used in this experiment is introduced emphatically.Secondly,the workflow of the scanner is summarized,including data collection,data processing and so on.In the paper,we focus on the point cloud splicing in data processing,and list three algorithms for point cloud registration:point cloud registration without control points,single station registration based on control points,regional registration of small control points.In this paper,the error of the scanning is analyzed,including the error of the instrument and the error of the external environment.Then some experiments are made according to the cause of the error to calibrate ranging error and angle measurement error,and analyze the difference between between the measured accuracy and the theoretical accuracy of scanner.The test results show:100m or less,the accuracy of the scanner to maintain the basic remained within 2mm,and relatively stable,more than 100m,the accuracy of rapid reduction;To TS02 total station as a reference,3D laser scanner within 100m,the accuracy of its outside within 2mm,high precision and relatively stable,more than 100m,the accuracy and distance is inversely proportional.Anhui University of Science and Technology in 2016 officially relocated,the old campus in the history of several decades of buildings will also be removed.In this paper,the buildings in the old campus as an example,according to the 3D laser scanner measured data,combined with 3Dmax on the building red-house three-dimensional modeling,the completion of the three-dimensional model of the building red-house reconstruction has a certain role.Point cloud data into 3Dmax,you can edit the external contours of the building,combining with modeling and rendering tools to obtain the three-dimensional model of the building ultimately.
