"Digital City" is based on computer technology, multimedia technology and massstorage devices based on modern communication network technology and informationsecurity support, integrated use of3S technology, artificial intelligence technology,virtual simulation technology for urban multi-resolution, multi-temporal, multi-scaleand multi-dimensional kind of description and analysis, and build digital city. Virtualterrain,3D city tour of the main building a virtual geographic environment, can bemore intuitive, easier user-oriented, and user interaction, expression andunderstanding, has very important significance.The method of construction using digital photogrammetry3D model, withmodeling speed, high degree of automation, easy-to-real-time updates, and manyother advantages. Meanwhile, the terms of mapping and digital photogrammetry inDLG (DLG), a digital elevation model (DEM) to establish, digital orthophoto map(DOM) of production, etc. is already has a very sophisticated way.In this paper, a digital photogrammetric production methods and technology tobuild data flow modeling3D simulation model of the city as the main researchdirection, while secondary introduction of laser point cloud modeling techniques, tilttexture modeling techniques and other methods, summed up in a3D simulation modelof the city application and significance cadastral database. Meanwhile, as animportant part of a3D simulation model generation, extraction texture of the building,the establishment of texture library building, also be made in this paper study.Changchun City Urban Land Survey database construction work is the secondnational land survey is an important task, the task of building urban land surveydatabase located in Changchun City, the main city (including Shuangyang City), anarea of about320square kilometers, mainly based on relevant national technicalstandards, using3S technology, remote sensing data, airborne LiDAR scanningmodeling, digital aerial measurement technology,3D visualization technology, thedevelopment of urban land survey database management system, to achieve true3Ddatabase standards.Changchun3D cadastre database project is the3D urban cadastral managementtogether with an important attempt, has very important significance. As a member ofthe project actually involved in the production, to the project as a background, youcan have more accurate data to study the examples of3D modeling applicationsamong3D cadastre database.
