Cycloconverter-fed dual three phase synchronous machine drive system which can reduce both torque ripple and harmonic current, is one of the developments in high-power ac drive system. Its vector control system is one of the most complicated ac adjustable speed control systems.Taking the Donghuantuo main mining hoist vector control system for example, this thesis firstly analyzes the cycloconverter-fed drive system. Thinking about the system operation characteristics of mining hoist, it researches the control techniques and related methods that are used to control the system of cycloconverter-fed dual three-phase synchronous machine. Synchronously, this thesis introduces the main circuit, the adjustable control circuit and their effect about Donghuantuo vector control system for mining hoist, especially the fully digital cycloconverter-fed dual three-phase synchronous machine with air age-flux oriented vector control system for mining hoist based on SIMADYD-D. The main content and conclusions are as follows:Firstly, the dynamic mathematics model is researched, and an equivalent circuit in M-T frame is presented, based on the analyzing of the inductance factor between the windings of synchronous machine under ideal conditions, and offering the necessary mathematic model for dual three-phase synchronous machine using vector control.Secondly, this thesis gives a theoretical analysis of current and voltage model about synchronous machine using vector control, by analyzing of vector control and vector varying theory about synchronous machine. And it introduces the measurement of rotor location and the control principle of speed about synchronous machine. Based on them, the current and voltage model in M-T frame is educed.Thirdly, based on the working principle and control theory of the cycloconverter-fed, the theory of three-phase current control is expatiated from the view of mathematics. Based on this, the multiphase currents control is presented, as well as the engineering parameter design method of cycloconverter-fed synchronous machine vector control system. Especially, the engineering parameter design method of stator current in M-T frame is educed.This system has been put into operation recently. And the operation result shows that the control system has high reliability and preferable control performance.
