Presently, the most basic and primal management on testing data in oil pipe test is in manual method, without a set of application software. Therefore, a great deal of important data has been lost, resulting in incompleteness of data and difficulties in the share of data. Numerous products of the same materials have been experienced many times of repeated tests. Work efficiency cannot be effectively increased with the same work repeatedly been done, which brought about great inconvenience to research and production.How to make the data management on testing more efficient is the main task for the present testing data informationization. This paper discussed the advantage of B/S architecture over C/S architecture by taking the oil pipe testing data management system as an example, combining the advantage of SQL database and analyzing the data mining technology. The system design was completed on a close relation to the actual situation of material testing data management, detailed analysis of the business needs and the operating environment of the material testing data management system.The research mainly included the following aspects:(1) Analyzed the current situation and existing problems in the development of oil pipe testing data management.(2) Researched the B/S architecture technology, database technology, and deeply probed into the database access interface and the distributed application technology.(3) Analyzed the system business flow of oil pipe testing in detail, focused on the research of system implementation functions, creatively put forward the developing idea on data management in category according to the different types of oil pipe tests, and the key managing models of business reexamining, authorization and multi-angle querying or statistics.(4)Through bringing the functions as collecting testing data from different types of tests, designing routine tests and accomplishing reports on the routine tests, analyzing the testing results and inquiring about testing data into the computer managing system wholly, effective supervision on oil pipe material testing data has been realized.
