. The Pipelayers is indispensable part of the process of pipe laying work, especiallythe rapid development of domestic and international pipeline industry these years, theneed of Pipelayers is increasing. With the needs of pipe laying, the operating environmentof Pipelayes is becoming more and more complex and dangerous. Existing Pipelayers withsignificant counterweight leads to the dead weight of the body so relatively large; becauseof existing road and personnel operation,there wlii be a imbalance in the center ofgravity.The Pipelayers appears the vehicle tipping. Because of these shortcomings, theemergence of the new Pipelayers is bound to become a trend.For the shortcomings of the current Pipelayers, bold design a new Pipelayers——Cross Line Pipelayers. Firstly,Cross Line Pipelayers’s weight is small;Secondly,because of the beams leveling system, the focus has always been in lower part of thebeams and Cross Line Pipelayers can be adapted to any slope what climbing ability allows,without the risk of tipping; Finally, the steering performance of Cross Line Pipelayers isvery superior, and through sexual is also good. Cross Line Pipelayers’s beams levelingthere will be a tipping phenomenon when Cross Line Pipelayers’s beams is leveled;Forcertain shortcomings, beam leveling system design of Cross Line Pipelayers is veryimportant.The main subject of the design of the new Pipelayers is Cross Line Pipelayers’sdesign and beam leveling system. Firstly, the concept of Cross Line Pipelayers is putforward, and according to the design concept,and reference of the existing constructionmachinery industry, In this paper, Cross Line Pipelayers is designed, the Cross LinePipelayers would do its main structural components, based on the finite element analysissoftware ANSYS Workbench and detailed analysis of the theoretical knowledge ofwalking system of Cross Line Pipelayers according to the the crawler vehicle’swalking,;Secondly,Cross Line Pipelayers beam leveling structure design analysisaccording to environment of the road, analyzed the relationship of its leveling hydrauliccylinder displacement with the slope and established the establishment-Proportional Valve Controlled asymmetric mathematical model of the hydraulic cylinder, calculated thetransfer function; Finally, the leveling hydraulic cylinder’s synchronization control systemof the Cross Line Pipelayers ’s leveling system synchronization control system used fuzzyPID controller of MATLAB/simulink for control system simulation, observated thefollowers of leveling hydraulic cylinder and its two-cylinder simultaneous performanceand synchronization accuracy, and the simulation results with conventional PID controlsystem than on observed response characteristics and steady-state performance.
