In hot weather and some industries in the environment of high temperature,the humanbody can maintain the body temperature relatively stable through various means. But thetemperature adjustment ability of human is limited.Severe heat stress will greatly reducepeople’s work efficiency and quality of life. In this paper, structure and performance of newprotective liquid cooling garment was studied, in order to promote it being applied widely.The research object was Liquid Cooling vest,and cooling-Storage-things shoud be put inthe refrigerator before used. With constant temperature water-bath as heat source, distilledwater as a heat transfer medium, tested the cooling effect of ice, ice crystal, glycol solution,phase change microcapsules emulsion.Experiment shows,500g ice can make water temperature under30℃and following85min,but its cooling rate was faster, the lowest temperature up to12℃, easy to produce theunpleasant cold temperature. Useing ice crystal as cooling-Storage-things, the lowesttemperature between24℃and28℃, and temperature maintain below30℃keeping86minand65min. Water temperature reduced slowly, so it was hard to cooling fast in hightemperature and high activity. After frozen2h, freezing time increaseing made a little changeon the cooling effect.Orthogonal test was designed to test the cooling effect of glycol solution. when37℃,glycol concentration were10%and30%respectively, freezing time respectively for2h and3h,the lowest temperature was23.6℃and25.5℃respectively, and maintain45min and keep57min under33℃. The cooling effect was relatively better.Phase change microcapsule PCM25and PCM35were observed by SEM and analysisedby DSC, the cooling effect of the PCM25phase change microcapsule was testing.Whenconcentration10%, cooling rate was Large, water temperature maintain90min and56minunder30℃and33℃.But when freezing time4h, temperature was less than20℃. Whenconcentration10%, the adjustment of the temperature changes was shronger.In this paper, orthogonal experiment was designed to test the cooling effect of PCM25phase change microcapsules glycol emulsion. The results showed,6#emulsions(microcapsule6.25%, glycol0.25%) have a moderate cooling rate and minimum temperature,maintain80min under30℃, temperature effect was better.The actual wearing test was carried out, the results show,cooling-storage-things couldslow down the liquid heating rate significantly,and verify the cooling characteristic of the above cooling-Storage-things. The compound colding storage structure was designedcreatively, the results show, the lowest temperature of liquid circulation is22.2℃, betweenice and ice crystals, can make the person feels cool, not cold. Cooling rate was0.77℃/min,significantly lower than ice, slightly higher than the ice crystals, cooling moderatly. Thelowest temperature maintenance time is40min, keeps110min below30℃.Comprehensively,liquid cooling garment obtained a better cooling effect.
