Plastizer is a common harmful substance. Phthalic acid ester is one kind of plastizer whichis largely used.10kinds of phthalate acid esters from21paper towels,7tea package and5papercups were tested by GC-MS. Considering the factors that influence the migration behavior ofpathalic acid ester, like the temperature, the molecular structure and paper properties and et al,the migration of phthalate acid esters from paper and board into Tenax and milk was researched.The main content about migration includes:1. Migration of phthalate acid esters frommicrowave paper into Tenax at different temperatures;2migration of phthalate acid esters frommicrowave paper into Tenax under microwave heating;3migration of phthalate acid esters frommicrowave paper into milk at different temperatures;4migration of phthlalte acid esters frommicrowave paper into milk under microwave heating. We can know:(1) Phthalate acid esters are existed in each paper sample. The quanlity of the tested paper towelsis not good. Many limits in our country are lower than international rules and regulations. Sowe should need to strengthen the supervision of laws and regulations of paper packagingmaterials and production system in order to ensure the paper material of our country security.(2) The migration of phthalate acid esters is mainly effected by temperature, paper properties andmolecular structure, etc. The higher temperature and lower gram weight and thickness canlead to speed up migration behavior.(3) Under microwave condition, migration of phthalate acid ester is not increased with theincrease of microwave power. The molecular polarity is important facters on the process ofmigration. Another important facter is heating mode. Under microwave heating the migrationbehavior is made more quickly.(4) The migration regulation of phthalate acid esters into milk is similar to one into Tenax. Butthe migration amout is less than the quantity into Tenax. So using Tenax as food safetystimulant to make limit is trustworthy.
