In the converter steelmaking process, it has great uncertainty to rely on workersexperience in the steel smelting processes. The target hit rate is low and the smeltingcycle is long, which is not conducive to the link of each production. Through the use ofcomputer control model for the smelting process of judgment and control, it caneffectively improve the converter steelmaking hit rate, reduces after-blowing times, obviously improves the quality of liquid steel.According to the actual production process in small and middle converter, the staticcontrol model which is designed with Visual Basic programming language as a tool, isbased on material balance and heat balance principle. It optimizes the calculation ofvarious materials in the converter smelting process to get the best quantity of differentbulk material. At the same time, it takes the situation of molten iron with slag and liningloss into account in the calculation process to improve the optimal model precision. At the same time, the static model divides the blowing process into several modelsaccording to the silicon content in hot metal. It can make the blowing process stable, thereby reduces spatter, accurately hits the end of blowing, reduces after-blowing andimproves the quality of molten steel and the life of furnace lining. The calculation modelof iron alloy can calculate the using iron alloy type and quantity quickly and accurately, optimizes ferroalloy proportioning scheme, reduce the consumption of iron alloy andreduce the cost of steelmaking. The static control model of converter can optimizes the burden calculation ofmaterial to optimize the structure of charging and reduce the consumption of rawmaterials. It is also able to improve the precision of temperature control and carboncontent, reduce the complement blow times, cut down the smelting cost.
