The organic bridging ligand including triazole, imidazole groups have many characteristics such as more coordination atoms, strong coordination ability, etc;The rational design and synthesis of novel coordination polymers is of great interest in modern inorganic chemistry stemingnot only from their potential applications as functional materialsin fields such as gas storage, chemical separation, catalysis, luminescence, and so on but also from their intriguing variety of topologies.In the work, we have synthesized and characterized ten coordination polymers using flexible ligands1,2-bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)ethane (bte)、1,4-bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl) butane (btb),1,6-bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)hexane (bth),4-amino-3,5-bis(1-imidazolyl-methyl)-1,2,4-triazole (abit),1,2-bis(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene (obtz),4,4’-bipyridine (bipy) and transition metal cations Zn(Ⅱ), Cd(Ⅱ), Cu(Ⅱ), Mn(Ⅱ) and5-iodoisophthalate (H2Ibdc),1,3-benzenedicarboxylate (H2mp), fumaric acid (fum):{[Zn(abit)(fum)]·4H2O}n (1),[Cd(abit)(Ibdc)(H2O)]n (2),{[Cu(btb)(Ibdc)]·H2O}n (3),{[Cu(obtz)(Ibdc)]·0.5H2O}n (4),[Cu(bte)(mp)]n (5),{[Mn(bte)(Ibdc)(H2O)]·H2O}n (6),[Mn(btb)(Ibdc)]n (7),{[Mn(bth)(Ibdc)(H2O)]·0.5H2O}n (8),{[Zn2(bipy)(Ibdc)2-(H2O)4]·H2O}n(9),{[Zn(bte)(Ibdc)(H2O)]·H2O}n(10).These ten compounds have been characterized by elemental analyis, IR spectra, luminescence analyses, thermogravi-metric analyses and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.Compounds1is fascinating2D-2D polyrotaxane metal-organic framework, Compounds2and8are two dimensional penetration structure, the structures of polymers6and10are similar nanotube structures. The structure of9shows a ladder. There are rich of hydrogen bonds in6,10nand9. The structure of polymers3and7are3D grids, but the structure of7is formed by two three-dimensional grids penetration.2and9respectively have two different emission spectra in the excitation light of different wavelengths, so it has a major significance in fluorescence regulator.
