Study On Land Use Change And Its Impact On The Value Of Ecosystem Services

Development is the motive force of human society to go forward.,while land management activity is the most basic conditions of social development.In the different historical stages, land use patterns are changing gradually. Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province and state coal industry development center, its land use patterns are also changing since the twenty-first century, then have an impact on the value of ecosystem services, its also cause the change of the ecological environment of the entire city. Because its similarities with the development of most cities and its special in some aspect, we take it for he object of study.Based on the area change of the different land use types in Taiyuan,we calculate the Individual ecosystem services value and the total value of each land in2002-2011,find the reason for the change of Taiyuan different types of land area and the reason for the value of ecosystem services change,then evaluate the change of ecological environment of Taiyuan in recent decades.This paper consists five chapters, the first chapter is the introduction part, introduce the research purpose, meaning and methods. the second chapter introduce the Research Progress of land use change and the value of ecosystem services at home and abroad.the third chapter introduce the land use change and the reason for its changing of Taiyuan.The fourth chapter is based on some data of Chapter Ⅲ and calculate the individual value of ecosystem services and the total value of different types of land use in Taiyuan.The fifth chapter is the text of the concluding part.The third chapter and the fourth chapter are the main part of the paper.Chapter three, by the Statistic from Yearbook of Shan xi Province, Taiyuan City and the Ministry of Land and Resources, we get the area of the different land use types in2002and2011of Taiyuan, then calculate its dynamic degree, the magnitude, analysis its existing problems in the process of land use and the reason to cause changes in land use; chapter four, based on Xie et al’s findings,combing the actual situation of Taiyuan,correcting some equivalent factors,calculate different land types’individual ecosystem service value and total ecosystem service value, then analysis the results.Chapter five is the concluding part, the results show that:First, there is big vary in2011compare with2002of Taiyuan land use,Woodland area increased fast, Unused land reduced most.Secondly, the value of ecosystem service show that:compared with2002, the total ecosystem service value increase a little in2011,but Woodland proportion is nearly doubled2002.
