Therefore, we must accelerate the modernization of environmental monitoring. Overall, the environmental protection and economic development path of China is similar to that of the United States, however, the Chinese environmental policy lags two to three decades than the United States’. The quality of the environment of Jiangsu Province, and the monitoring situation is anaylzed by comparing the environmental monitoring project and monitoring methods with the one existed in developed countries.The air quality of JiangSu province has been well comprehended, and a large amount of real time data and information is gathered via conducting environment monitoring. The change trend of the provincial air quality is well analyzed using the data from exhaust gas emissions, urban air quality, and regional acid rain pollution.
