Gear reducer is an important transmission equipment of scraper conveyor, it often suffers from great dynamic load due to the complex work environment of scraper conveyor and it is often in a state of overload. So it puts forward high demands on high reliability requirements of gear reducer. Because of this,gear reducer must go through strict tests before using. General performance tests take a long time and cost large sums of money because that the test load is the tated load. With the development of the accelerated life test? The gear reducer of scraper conveyor can be accelerated life test. The accelerated life test of scraper conveyor need less time because that it have accelerate load, which is advantageous to the production process of gear reducer. Recyclable power test method can be applied to the accelerated life experiment, which significantly reduce the test cost and is very important to the Power increasing gear reducer of scraper conveyor.This paper studies the theory and methods of accelerated life tests based on gearreducer (MS3H70DC) of scraperconveyor (SGZ764/400) as an example. This paper studies the mathematical model of accelerated life tests of gear reducer. There is currently no accurate mathematics model for accelerated life test of gear reducer because of the gear reducer is too complicated. The existing research mainly focuses on gear reducer of the accelerated life. Theory is based on the Miner cumulative fatigue damage theory and the S-N curve equation of spare parts. This paper studies the accelerated load spectrum of gear reducer. The statistical analysis method is used to study the random load of the gear reducer of scraper conveyor, beta distribution function is chosen as the distribution of the random load according to the corresponding standard. According to the commonly eight load spectrum method, the normal load spectrum of gear reducer can be made. The acceleration of the scraper conveyor gear reducer load spectrum can be compilied through linear strengthening rule.The accelerated life test can be carried out by using electric enclosed test bed of scraper conveyor gear reducer. Test bench is driven by AC variable frequency asynchronous motor and the gear reducer is loaded by another AC variable frequency asynchronous motor. Electrical energy is power back to the drive motor. The data acquisition system and the applied load system are controlled by the computer system. The diffierent output torque result from the two kinds of load spectrums are studied and the acceleration life test completed using the load spectrum.The accelerated life test is studied through simulation method.Virtual prototype model of gear reducer is established in ADAMS and entered the normal load spectrum and accelerated load spectrum. Then,the different mechanics of the results from the two load spectrum can be analyzed.The different acceleration loading effect on gear contact strength and bending strength in ANSYS can be studied. In FE-SAFE software, the gear fatigue life can be estimated by using the finite element results from ANSYS and simulation of torque load spectrum from ADAMS. The influence of the fatigue life of gear affected by the normal load spectrum and accelerated load spectrum can be analyzed.
