Reverse logistics reflects new ideas of the low-carbon circular economy, which is“low mining-high utilization-low emission”. Economic value, social value andenvironmental value are effectively unified by reverse logistics. In the present era of thepursuit of sustainable development of resources, the potential value of reverse logisticsis highlighted. In order to alleviate the problem of global climate and reduce carbonemissions, the time of carbon reduction targets which is required for a variety oflarge-scale manufacturing enterprises is coming. Studies of technologies and policiesfor carbon emission reduction are focused on industries of greenhouse gas emission,such as energy production industry and resource industry, however, it is cannot beignored that there also be huge potential carbon reduction and business sense in logisticsand transportation industry of supply chain. The recycling of waste not only plays animportant role on environmental protection, recycling economy and energy-saving, butalso contains a huge potential of carbon emission reduction, the field of waste can beused as a focal area for carbon emissions reduction, and the government’s attention onthe area of recycling electrical waste is high.To response to the above situation, this paper studies the recycling game modelbetween manufacturers and non-formal institutions from two different policies-carbontrading mechanisms and carbon tax policy, analysis the recycling price of manufacturers,the recovery rate of manufacturers and the price of non-formal institutions are how tochange by the price of carbon trading, carbon tax and unit carbon emission reductionmagnitude. Introducing carbon reduction targets to the manufacturer’s waste reverselogistics improve the recycling enthusiasm of manufacturers and efficiency of carbonemission reduction by another way. The main contents are below:1. Analysis the research status of carbon emission reduction and waste recyclingreverse logistics.2. Study the theoretical framework of carbon emission reduction and the waste’sreverse logistics. Analyze the meaning and intrinsic link of theories.3. Under the carbon trading mechanism and carbon emission reduction targets, study the recycling game model between the manufacturer and the non-formalinstitutions. And conclude that the recycling price of the manufacturer, the recovery rateof manufacturers and the recycling price of the non-formal institutions are impacted bythe carbon trading price and unit carbon emission reduction magnitude.4. Under the carbon tax policy, study the recycling game model between theoriginal manufacturer and non-formal institutions. And analysis that the recycling priceof the manufacturer, the recovery rate of the manufacturer and the recycling price of thenon-formal institutions are also impacted by the carbon tax and unit carbon emissionreduction magnitude.
