Silver nanowires with high selectivity and well controlled morphology were prepared at high synthetic concentration by the polyol method in this study. Based on traditional polyol method, various control agents, such metallic cations, inorganic ions and large molecular, were introduced to prepare silver nanowires by one-step method. This proposed one-step high-concentration method facilitated the preparation of silver nanowires, improved the maneuverability and repeatability of this method, and paved the roads for the large scale preparation of silver nanowires. What’s more, the synthetic concentration had been improved from the present0.05M to0.40M in this study, and it could be still improved continuously. For metallic cations, such as Fe3+, Co2+,Ni2+, Mn2+, silver nanowires with the diameters of50-100nm and the aspect ratio of500~1000, could be obtained at high synthetic concentration. Silver nanowires were prepared in5-10minutes at high concentration in the presence of Cu2+, and the diameters of the products could be tuned by the concentration of the precursor. Silver nanowires with the diameter of100~400nm could be also prepared in the presence of various ions control agents and molecular control agent.Silver branched nanomaterials were also prepared in assistant of ionic liquid. This branched nanostructure was obtained via the reduction of silver nitrate by N2H4or NaBH4. The introduced ionic liquid stabled the reduced silver nanocrystal and induced the self-assembly of these crystals. The species and concentration of the ionic liquid, the temperature, the solvent, and the reluctant, were researched to control the morphology. Different nanostructure were prepared with different ionic liquid:silver branched nanomaterials were prepared with methyl sulfate based ionic liquid; silver nanoparticles were prepared with halogen based ionic liquid.Ag/Pt nanotubes with smooth surface, well dispersant, controlled morphology, were prepared by the galvanic replacement reaction between HPtCl6and silver nanowires with average diameters of70nm. Besides, silver nanowires transparent conductive films with high transmittance and lower surface resistance, were prepared on the substrate of glass or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which could be potential conductive material for the new type diaplays or thin-film solar cells.
