With the rapid development of the automobile and other manufacturing industries, the gear accuracy requirements are also rising. As a state-of-the-art multi-purpose high-precision gear measuring instruments, CNC gear measuring center has a wide application in gear deviation measurement. Compare with foreign CNC gear measuring center development, there also has many deficiencies in domestic self-developed CNC gear measuring center. This study depends on the HY300gear measuring center, which is self-developed by Dongguan Yuanxing optical instrument Co. Ltd., for the purpose to Gear measuring center with motion error compensation and to improve the measurement accuracy. The main contents are as follows:(1) Depend on the structure of HY300gear measuring center, explain the purpose of the probe calibration before the start of Gear deviation measurement, given the operation method of probe calibration, and by experiments to determine the linear relationship between the input and output of the probe. Describe the necessity of gear measuring center zero calibration, given a new method about standard ball calibration, and feasibility it by examples.(2) Gear measuring center contains mechanical transmission, and mechanical transmission will produce motion errors. According to the definition of gear deviation prescribed by GB, we give the measurement principle of cylindrical gear tooth profile deviation and the helix deviation. The degree of influence to gear deviation measurement results by motion error of the measurement center can be verified by the entities gear model test data.(3) Based on the kinetic theory of multi-body system, we abstracted the HY300gear measuring center into adjacent low-order structure, analysis of27geometric error parameters, established geometric motion model of gear measuring center, and deduced the precision measurement formula which contains motion error. We provide a theoretical basis for the subsequent development of program about error compensation and gear measuring simulation.
