Gear measuring center was developed by the electronic generating method since the eighties of the twentieth century and is a high-tech gear meter with optical ?mechanical and electrical.With the rapid development of China's economy and the technology industry gears, gear measuring instrument of market demand and the technical requirements are constantly improved,by improving the performance of its control system to improve the overall performance of the instrument is an extremely important issue.This paper first describes gear measurement center functional ? structure ?measurement principle and the characteristics of its control system,it is less than the current control system,and put forward the overall design of the closed-loop control system, make the system more ready positioning, dynamic response faster.In ACR9000 as the core control unit,drive structure in three linear axe use Panasonic A5 servo motor,the axis of rotation shaft by Kollmorgen direct drive motors and drives,and high-precision grating as position detection,capture cards as a data acquisition system, control mode controller using analog output,constitute a double loop control system.Previous studies used ACR9000 PID-feedforward-filter control servo control theory, it was analyzed improvement and advantage, and analyzed based ACR9000 motion controller and the A5 drive position loop and velocity loop control system.Meanwhile,each of the position loop and speed-loop servo adjustment of test carried out experiments, up to the system requirements for steady-state performance and dynamic performance.Through Acro-Basic language and PLC ladder program On the ACR-VIEW platform to achieve high and low control,test head protection control and hard or soft limit control function. Developed dynamic link libraries of machinecommunication, has realized the controller state guard, single-axis motion,multiracial linkage,man-machine interface interaction.Finally,it has done the contrast test to the overall measuring performance,the results show that the improved control system of the future effectively improve the measurement accuracy and stable performance gear measuring center, and satisfied the measurement requirements.
